Ultrasound Sonographer

Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to deliver high-quality diagnostic ultrasound services in a professional healthcare environment. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with and support Veterans, focusing on patient care, quality, and safety while utilizing specialized imaging skills and digital technology. Key Responsibilities ● Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations as ordered ● Prepare and educate patients prior to procedures ● Explain procedures and provide reassurance and support ● Obtain diagnostic images of internal organs, blood vessels, and other anatomical structures ● Evaluate images for clarity and diagnostic quality ● Monitor patients during procedures and report significant findings or changes ● Maintain accurate examination and patient documentation ● Utilize PACS and electronic health record systems ● Perform quality control and routine equipment checks ● Follow infection control, patient safety, and applicable facility policies ● Document delayed or incomplete studies and coordinate follow-up as required Schedule and Shift Details ● Full-time contract opportunity

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher
• General Ultrasound (1+ years)

• ALL of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • American Registry of Diagnostic Sonography (ARDMS)
  • Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS)
