Pain Management Psychologist
Overview
Due 9/15/2026 Our client is looking for a Pain Management Psychologist to provide expert psychological care to Veterans experiencing chronic pain. This role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact by delivering evidence-based treatments and working closely with a multidisciplinary team to improve Veterans' quality of life. Key Responsibilities ● Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for Veterans with chronic pain ● Develop individualized treatment plans focused on pain, function, and quality of life ● Provide evidence-based psychological interventions including CBT for Chronic Pain, ACT, motivational interviewing, biofeedback, mindfulness, and psychoeducation ● Provide individual and group psychotherapy, family/caregiver counseling, and psychological assessment ● Assess psychological, emotional, cognitive, and psychosocial factors affecting chronic pain ● Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other members of the interdisciplinary Pain Management team ● Participate in pain team conferences, rounds, treatment planning, and specialty clinics ● Document assessments, treatment, progress, goals, and outcomes in the electronic medical record ● Provide telehealth services through approved platforms Schedule and Shift Details ● Full-Time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
