Overview

Due 9/15/2026 This full-time role offers an opportunity to provide specialized physical therapy services to Veterans with chronic pain. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary Pain Management team using your clinical skills to improve patient function and quality of life. The position includes a regular weekday schedule with mostly direct patient care and a mix of onsite and telehealth services. Key Responsibilities ● Perform comprehensive physical and functional evaluations ● Develop and implement individualized treatment plans ● Treat patients with chronic pain and related functional conditions including musculoskeletal, neurologic, cardiovascular, and pulmonary ● Provide therapeutic exercise, rehabilitation, patient education, and functional restoration ● Evaluate adaptive equipment, prosthetics, positioning, and other functional needs ● Provide home programs and education to support continued progress ● Collaborate with the interdisciplinary Pain Management team ● Document patient progress, treatment, and outcomes in electronic medical records ● Provide services onsite and through approved telehealth services Schedule and Shift Details ● Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule Travel ● Occasional travel between Manhattan and Brooklyn locations may be required

Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree or higher
  • ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
    • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
    • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
    • American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
