Interventional Radiology Physician
Overview
Due Date 10/5/2026 This contract opportunity offers a consistent weekday schedule with shared on-call duties providing comprehensive Interventional Radiology services in a hospital setting. Candidates will work collaboratively with medical staff to deliver high-quality patient care and have the chance to serve Veterans in a respected healthcare environment. Key Responsibilities ● Provide on-site clinical care and on-call consultation for Interventional Radiology procedures ● Perform procedures including angiography, balloon angioplasty, stent placement, biliary interventions, CT-guided and ultrasound-guided biopsies, central line placement, chemoembolization, dialysis access interventions, drain and tube placement/exchanges, embolization, IVC filter placement, lumbar puncture, myelograms, paracentesis, radiologically inserted gastrostomy, thoracentesis, vertebroplasty, and joint injections ● Provide pre-procedure planning, consultation with referring physicians, post-procedure evaluation and follow-up, and management of complications ● Participate in quality improvement and required clinical/administrative activities ● Maintain clinical privileges and credentialing compliance Schedule and Shift Details ● Full-time, Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–4:30 PM with shared on-call coverage weekdays 4:30 PM–12:00 AM and weekends & holidays 8:00 AM–8:00 PM Travel ● No required travel to alternate campuses
Qualifications
- Doctorate degree

1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
- Cardiology - Interventional
- Radiology

ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Board Certified

ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
