Key Responsibilities ● Perform diagnostic medical radiographic procedures on patients from neonate to geriatric ● Operate radiographic equipment to produce quality images in Radiology Department, Emergency Department, Operating Room, or bedside ● Explain procedures and demonstrate appropriate patient positioning ● Adjust equipment controls to set exposure factors based on procedure guidelines ● Demonstrate effective radiation safety practices ● Assist Radiologist as needed ● Use various computer programs and systems daily ● Perform other duties as assigned by Radiology Supervisor or Director

Qualifications

Required
  • Associate degree or higher
  • 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
    • Meditech RAD – Radiology
    • Radiology
  • ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
    • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
    • American Registry of Diagnostic Sonography (ARDMS)
    • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
  • ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
    • American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC BLS)
    • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
    • American Red Cross Advanced Life Support (ARC ALS)
