Overview
Our client, a growing and well-established primary care practice in the Metro Atlanta area, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join its outpatient team. Openings are available across three locations, with room to add providers at more than one site. This role is a strong fit for a provider who wants real clinical autonomy without practicing in isolation. You'll manage your own patient panel with physicians close by for support and collaboration. You'll also have a manageable daily volume, a predictable schedule, and a compensation package built to reward performance and longevity. The practice places a strong emphasis on taking care of its providers. Key Responsibilities ● See, evaluate, diagnose, and treat your own panel of patients with physician oversight available when needed ● Manage common chronic conditions such as hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia, along with routine primary care and preventive visits ● Build long-term relationships with patients and provide continuity of care ● Collaborate with supervising physicians and the care team on complex cases ● Maintain accurate, timely documentation in line with practice standards Schedule and Shift Details ● 4-day or 5-day workweek (provider preference considered) ● Typically 15 to 18 patients per day ● Outpatient clinic hours, no inpatient coverage ● Multiple location options: Johns Creek, Snellville, or Lawrenceville Compensation and Benefits ● $130,000 to $140,000 base salary, depending on experience ● Opportunity for two $5,000 bonuses annually ● Additional RVU-based incentive for high performers ● Full benefits package Requirements ● Board certified Family Nurse Practitioner, Adult-Gerontology NP, or Physician Assistant ● Active, unrestricted Georgia license (or ability to obtain before start) ● Active DEA and prescribing privileges ● Outpatient primary care experience strongly preferred ● Comfortable independently managing adult patients Ideal Candidate ● Brings solid outpatient primary care experience and confident clinical judgment ● Values physician accessibility and a collaborative team environment ● Communicates clearly and builds trust with patients ● Wants a long-term home where they can grow a patient panel alongside the practice ● Lives within a reasonable commute of Johns Creek, Snellville, or Lawrenceville Why This Role Stands Out Many primary care providers are choosing between autonomy with no backup, or support with no independence.
