Nurse Practitioner - Occupational Health

Overview

This contract role is for a Nurse Practitioner with experience in primary care and occupational health. Candidates with Physician Assistant background and occupational health experience will also be considered. The position requires ACLS certification and proficiency with Epic software. Shift times will be determined. Key Responsibilities ● Provide primary care and occupational health services ● Use Epic electronic health record system for documentation ● Perform clinical duties consistent with nurse practitioner scope of practice Schedule and Shift Details ● Shift times are to be determined. Shift example: 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM with a 30-minute meal break.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Primary Care
  • Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
  • Care Management
• 1+ years of experience in ANY of the following:
  • Occupational Health
  • Occupational Medicine
• ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
  • American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
  • American Red Cross Advanced Life Support (ARC ALS)
  • Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS)
• Master's degree or higher
• Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) in Texas (TX)
