Position exists to provide support for leadership team primarily relative to physician compensation modeling/review and includes reporting and analysis, new business growth and ad hoc requests. This position performs a variety of project oriented tasks and supports the routine monthly physician compensation payroll calculations and data integrity of production reporting. Projects include the submission and analysis of compensation survey data used as the basis for physician compensation; analysis of appropriate wRVU assignment; researching and responding to physician and management queries regarding physician compensation and production as well as overall contract inputs. Essential Functions: Physician Compensation •Responsible for calculation of compensation rates per wRVUs, creation of compensation structure for all physician practices and implementation and adoption of physician and mid-level compensation plans for monthly close as well as quarterly bonus calculations. •A key party to the responsibility of the roll out of new compensation model. This entails the integrity of the model, testing, preparedness of the work plan and final roll out. •Assist the management team with the preparation of the annual budget related to physician compensation and benefits by preparing supporting schedules and analyzing data for reasonableness compared to current expenses and known changes. •Analyze the impact of annual changes to the CMS wRVU tables impacting physician compensation and summarize any major changes for the VP of Finance to share with the Physician Compensation Committee. Accounting and Other •Assist in the analysis of the financial close to assure integrity of the actuals and compare to budget. •Adhoc projects as needed. Skills and Abilities: •Proficiency in Microsoft products, specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access; •Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously; •Strong written and verbal communication skills; flexibility to meet organizational and department deadlines; •Familiarity with CPT codes, physician billing, and wRVU production reporting; •Physician Compensation experience a must; and •Experience with presentation creation for final product delivery to senior management
