Overview
Are you an expert in dual eligible special needs plans? We are seeking a talented RN to join our team as a field-based DSNP. In this position, you’ll be performing assessments for PCA and MDC services, and making sure that the right level of care and services are provided for patients. This will include assessing a patient’s clinical needs and making sure they are aligned with both care guidelines and their benefits. In addition to having excellent communication and collaboration skills, you’ll also need knowledge of case/care management principles, utilization management, healthcare contracts, and benefit eligibility requirements. Requires an associates or bachelors degree (or higher) in nursing and/or accredited diploma nursing school. 2. A minimum of two (2) years clinical experience is preferred 3. Active Unrestricted NJ RN License Required. 4. Working knowledge of case/care management principles. 5. Working knowledge of principles of utilization management. 6. Prefers basic knowledge of health care contracts and benefit eligibility requirements. 7. Prefers knowledge of hospital structures and payment systems.
