Overview
Under general supervision of the Director of Quality Management, this position performs complex and varied work developing, planning and coordinating both behavioral and quality improvement activities by ensuring that corporate level quality directives and projects are accomplished. Work requires the direct application of a variety of procedures, policies and/or precedents. Routine work decisions do not require direction or review by supervisor who reviews end results. Strategic issues are referred to supervisor. An incumbent in this position has extensive contacts throughout the organization from peers to executives, and represents this function to others outside of our organization. Necessary Qualifications: - Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s degree in social services, healthcare or a directly related field; - A minimum of two (2) years of experience in quality improvement/management, performance improvement, or regulatory affairs in healthcare or social service organization - Ability to obtain and maintain Level One Fingerprint Card. - Preferred: CPHQ certification; Six Sigma certification; Experience with CARF accreditation.
