Nurse - CVICU - CVSD

***This client is looking for nurses with a minimum of 1 year of recent, acute experience in a hospital setting (recent = within the past 1-2 years). At least 1 year of experience in the specialty is preferred, but will consider any RN that meets the acute experience qualifications. Client will also consider experienced nurses for additional units.*** We are seeking dedicated, talented nurses to join our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (including recovery for CVOR patients). Patient population includes late adolescent to geriatric patients who have undergone cardiac, thoracic, or vascular surgeries such as Coronary Artery Bypass Grafts, Valve replacement, lung surgery/thoracotomy, VATS, Carotid Endarterectomy, Aortic Abdominal Aneurysm repair, vascular bypass, etc. Top "Must-Have" Skills for This Job – 1. BSN required 2. Current RN license to practice in the state of Virginia 3. 1 year of recent Cardiac ICU or relevant experience in an acute/hospital setting
