***This client is looking for nurses with a minimum of 1 year of recent, acute experience in a hospital setting (recent = within the past 1-2 years). They prefer the candidate to have at least 1 year of experience in the specialty they are applying for, but will consider any RN that meets the acute experience qualifications. They will also consider them for multiple units, so every RN submitted has a greater chance of getting an interview.*** We are seeking dedicated, talented Gastroenterology/Endoscopy nurses to join our widely renowned GI department. The GI Registered Nurse collaboratively works with the physician and other team members in all procedure areas of GI/Endoscopy serving both inpatients and outpatients. GI/Endoscopy Nurse will respond to a variety of needs with procedures such as colonoscopy, upper endoscopy, ERCPs, and PEG placements. A variety of 8-hour and 10-hour shifts are available between the hours of 8:00am and 8:00pm. Top "Must-Have" Skills for This Job – 1. ASN degree, BSN preferred 2. Current RN license to practice in the state of Virginia 3. 1-2 years of recent Med/Surg or relevant experience required. Will provide procedure training. 4. Telemetry experience preferred 5. Excellent collaboration skills to facilitate successful interactions with physicians and team members
