Calling all nurses who love working with newborns! Our NICU team would love to talk to you about joining our close-knit family of collaborative, high-quality care providers. As a NICU nurse on our team, you will… Provide direct care in the neonatal intensive care unit Assess and plan individual patient care Communicate with physicians about symptoms, monitoring, and diagnostic study results Use evidence based practices to provide optimum patient care The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit provides care for 26 week neonates to full term newborns. This also includes the care of ventilated neonates and step-down patients. Our ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent time management skills. In addition to working for a Magnet Recognized Hospital, you’ll also have the opportunity to grow by taking advantage of continuing education opportunities. Top "Must-Have" Skills for This Job – 1. BSN required 2. Current RN license to practice in the state of Virginia 3. BLS for the Healthcare Provider CPR 4. At least 1 year of recent NICU experience required, 2 years preferred
