Nurse - Surgical

***This client is looking for nurses with a minimum of 1 year of recent, acute experience in a hospital setting (recent = within the past 1-2 years). They prefer the candidate to have at least 1 year of experience in the specialty they are applying for, but will consider any RN that meets the acute experience qualifications. They will also consider them for multiple units, so every RN submitted has a greater chance of getting an interview.*** We are seeking dedicated, talented nurses to join our Surgical adult inpatient unit, with some observation cases. All the room are private, which includes a sofa for loved ones to stay overnight. There's also one central nurses' station and the capability for 12 soft telemetry beds; 12 nurse-driven Prefense-Monitored beds. Top "Must-Have" Skills for This Job – 1. ASN degree, BSN preferred 2. Current RN license to practice in the state of Virginia 3. BLS for the Healthcare Provider CPR, ACLS encouraged 4. 1 year of recent surgical experience required in an acute hospital setting 5. Basic cardiac rhythm interpretation and neuro assessment skills preferred
