Job "Must Haves": 1. Graduate degree from an accredited program for nursing education and licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri, or eligible to be licensed is required. 2. At least two years of nursing experience necessary. 3. Certification in the specialty practice area is preferred. About This Job: 1. Conducts comprehensive health assessments and demonstrates a high level of autonomy and expert skill in the diagnosis and treatment of actual and potential health problems. May enter into collaborative practice agreements with physician colleagues. 2. Role models effective problem identification and resolution skills as a method of sound decision making. 3. Coordinates the activities of health care providers and resources toward achievement of identified outcomes for individual patients. 4. Directs the process of patient education in areas of clinical expertise. 5. Identifies issues related to patient/family rights, assists staff and makes recommendations for change.
