Locum Pediatric Surgeon in Wichita, KS! - Start date: ASAP - End date: Ongoing - Type of Clinic: Hospital - Schedule: 24 hour coverage/call - Census: 20 patients/day - Patient Ages: Pediatrics - Inpatient/outpatient: Inpatient - On call: Yes - Support Staff: Fully staffed 15 bed PICU, 30 bed pediatric floor unit, 3 mid-levels, 84 bed NICU, clinic staff including 2 nurses, admissions, billing, physician coordinator, etc. - Full range of pediatric subspecialties as well - EMR: Meditech, E-clinical works, IMobile, Patient Keeper - BC / BE Requirement: Board certified in pediatric surgery and general surgery Monthly Coverage Need: 24 hour shifts, including pediatric surgery rounds, pediatric trauma call, scheduled and emergent surgeries, pediatric surgery clinic coverage including concussion clinic, NICU rounding. On-call when not on site. Facility is a level 2 pediatric trauma facility, and a level 3 NICU. We serve the majority of the state of KS and surrounding states. Qualified providers need to be able to support NICU Unit and Concussion Units; and be able and comfortable performing pediatric procedures on children with tumors Facility is the only Level II Trauma Unit in state; servicing pediatrics in 4 surrounding states
