Top Reasons to Love This Job: Under the direction of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and indirect oversight by the CNO, the Director of Case Management implements and coordinates all aspects of the Case Management/Social Work programs and is responsible for direct clinical supervision of the Case Managers. They will also assess and evaluate care/services provided, staffing levels, competence and educational needs of all employees and effectively coordinate and control resources. Responsibilities also include development and implementation of organizational and departmental policies/procedures Top “Must-Have” Skills for This Job: 1. Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university is required. 2. Master's level in business administration, hospital/health administration or related field is preferred. 3. A current and valid license as RN in the State of California. 4. At least five years of current demonstrated experience in management and utilization management 5. Self-directed and able to work under pressure and constant change. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with medical staff, hospital personnel, patients, and their families 6. Degree of supervision required: Minimal, individual proceeds on his/her own initiative, in compliance with policies, practices and procedures prescribed by professional nursing practice and approved by the hospital’s CFO
