Overview
"Must Have" Skills for this Job: 1. Minimum of one-year adult, acute care with cardiology/cardiovascular nursing. 2. Preferred: 2 + years Critical Care experience. 3. RN Licensure from an accredited school of nursing 4. Registered Nurse with current state licensure from the State of Texas 5. RN licensure from state with the Nursing Compact – required to get a Texas license within 90 days of hire 6. BLS Certification, ACLS Certification, and TNCC Certification About this Job: A specialized team of cardiothoracic surgeons and interventional cardiologists work together to ensure the best evaluation and treatment plan for each patient. The unit provides care for but not limited to patients recovery of post open heart surgery (1:1), post cardiac arrest (1:1), Vascular procedures, hypothermia, CVVH, VADS, Balloon pump patients.
