Director: Quality Management Houston, Texas Full-time, M-F Looking for a role in management or leading a team? Are you skilled in problem solving and thrive on managing many responsibilities? We have a director position that could be yours! This job is for someone who will confidently and carefully lead the operations of Quality Management. This person will create and maintain effective systems to make sure all operations are running smoothly on a day-to-day basis. The Quality Management director will promote a culture that is positive, that values individual strengths, takes risks, and is committed to optimal patient care, and compliance with regulatory standards. Facilitate the growth of hospital knowledge regarding quality and high reliability, including the dissemination and implementation of “best practices” across the facility. Top reasons to love this job: - Opportunity to lead a team at one of the best facilities in the state - Competitive salary offered - Full benefits package Skills and Experience: - Masters Degree required - Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Texas preferred - Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality CPHQ required; If not already CPHQ, must obtain certification within first year of hire. - Minimum of five (5) years progressive experience in healthcare required - Combination of three (3) to five (5) years healthcare experience in quality, risk, and/or patient safety plus management experience required. - Experience with analyzing patient data and proven ability to implement actionable performance improvement plans require.
