Nurse Manager: Emergency Department Arlington, Texas Full-time, M-F (Days, some evenings / weekends) Looking for a role in management leading a team? Are you skilled in problem solving and thrive on managing many responsibilities? We have a director position that could be yours! This job is for someone who will confidently and carefully manage the operations of the Emergency Department. This person will create and maintain effective systems to make sure all operations are running smoothly on a day-to-day basis. The ED Manager is responsible for coordination of day to day clinical operations of the Emergency Department with regard to patient care, resource management, staffing, supplies & equipment. Helps maintain personnel files related to orientation, competency, disciplinary actions and attendance, and coordination of staffing schedule. Top reasons to love this job: - Opportunity to help lead a team at one of the best facilities in the state - Competitive salary offered - Full benefits package Skills and Experience: - Graduate of Professional School of Nursing - Current Texas State RN license or compact license is accepted - Bachelor's degree required - Current Healthcare Provider BLS and ACLS issued by the American Heart Association required - CEN, TNCC, ENPC/PALS issued by the American Heart Association preferred. - Five (5) years nursing experience with at least two (2) years in Emergency Department - Supervisory/leadership experience within past year - Pre-hospital EMS experience preferred - Previous trauma coordinator preferred, leadership/management experience preferred.
