Director: Behavioral Health Aventura, Florida Full-time Looking for a role in management or leading a team? Are you skilled in problem solving and thrive on managing many responsibilities? We have a director position that could be yours! This job is for someone who will confidently and carefully lead the operations of the Behavioral Health unit. This person is responsible for managing daily operations of BHS to achieve quality improvement, fiscal/productivity goals and patient satisfaction. Collaborate with Administrative Director, Hospital leadership and staff to work towards becoming a premier Psychiatric Center of Excellence facility, and develop procedures for evaluating the effectiveness of the programs’ treatment process to assure the programs’ goals and objectives and patient needs are being met. Top reasons to love this job: - Opportunity to lead a team at one of the best facilities in the state - Competitive salary offered - Sign on bonus available for qualified candidate - Full benefits package Skills and Experience: - Licensed Registered Nurse in the state of Florida - Bachelor's required - MSN preferred in Mental Health Nursing, Psych Nursing or equivalent - Current BLS - CPI within 3 months of hire - Greater than 5 years clinical experience with acute inpatient Behavioral Health Services - Minimum 3 years Director level experience in acute BHS inpatient environment - MUST have short term acute hospital experience (recent/current) in behavioral health or at a freestanding psychiatric hospital
