Technologist - Imaging Technology Manager

Overview

The Manager of Imaging Technology manages all aspects of Imaging Technology systems to ensure timely, accurate and reliable processing, storage, retrieval, transmission and viewing of diagnostic imaging and patient data. Reviews and recommends enhancements to hardware and software systems, identifies and resolves operational issues, and provides regular user training to meet current and anticipated needs. Collaborates with users, Imaging Department leadership, Information Services (I.S.) Leadership, technical teams, clinical staff, physicians and other stakeholders to assess needs and measure effectiveness. Must Haves From the Account Executive: 1. Experience in the following required: MS server and workstation operating systems, networking, system security, user management and HL7/Interface, Project management, voice recognition technology 2. ARRT, CIIP, PARCA or similar technical certification preferred 3. Experience in the following preferred: financial reports and budgeting, DR System/Merge and/or ScImage, hospital system and/or multi-location facility 4. PACS certification required
