About the Job: The Nurse Manager of NICU is responsible for planning, organizing, staffing and directing functions to ensure the effective operation of the Unit. The Clinical Nurse Manager assumes the role as a leader in planning, directing and managing the unit and staff to assure quality service on a twenty-four (24) hour basis. The Clinical Nurse Manager is responsible for meeting Joint Commission standards, complying with all state and federal regulations, complying with corporate and hospital policy and procedures. The Clinical Nurse Manager for NICU will also assume responsibility for education and competency process for all staff members. Must Haves for this Job: 1. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing 2. Florida RN License 3. American Heart Association BLS Health Care Provider 4. STABLE 5. NRP 6. Neonatal Intensive Care-NCC 7. 3 years of Clinical Experience 8. 2 years of Progressive Leadership experience 9. Level III NICU PREFERRED
