Overview
Responsible for overall management of the day-to-day operation of the Cardiac Clinical Unit. Specific responsibilities include: Performance improvement; policies and procedures; staffing/productivity; program development; and nursing care for specific patient populations. Works closely with staff, physicians, and other managers to ensure quality patient care. Guides the staff in the implementation of the nursing process and directs the cost effective allocation of resources. Top “Must-Have” Skills for This Job: 1. B.A. / B.S. required, M.A. / M.S. preferred 2. Florida Registered Nurse License 3. 3 yrs. work experience in area of supervision required, acute care or specialty nursing experience as appropriate 4. Evidence of experience in successful administration and leadership of organizational management programs.
