Senior Business Intelligence Developer Specialist Livonia, MI Contract - to - hire *This is a contract-to-hire or contract position. **This position can be remote!! They're expected to be in the Detroit area for the first few weeks for training** Responsible for defining, designing and implementing business intelligence (BI) technologies and services to enable the analysis of data to support strategic initiatives and ongoing business requirements. Advanced technical skills to perform analysis, design, configuration and implementation of business intelligence reports and dashboards, while maintaining existing environments. Develops business intelligence solutions using Business Objects, Qlikview and Tableau technologies. Assists in the development of an enterprise analytical and self-service/ ad-hoc reporting environment. Leads the business intelligence solution development life-cycle, development of BI standards, templates and procedures. Possess a deep understanding of our customers and how they are using data to drive their businesses and achieve their goals. Acts as a mentor to junior BI developers in helping to create a sustainable analytics ecosystem. Required Skills & Experience (the "must haves" to be considered) 1. Bachelor's degree in healthcare or information technology 2. Minimum of 7 years experience within Information Technology 3. Minimum of 5 years recent experience writing and tuning advance SQL 3. Minimum of 5 years recent experience working with BI technologies such as Busines Objects, Cognos, Qlikview, Tableau 4. Tools: OBIEE expert, Supply Chain Knowledge (huge PLUS), PeopleSoft knowledge (huge PLUS), BI Warehouse, Tableau, SQL, INFA, DMT, BO, Java, Customer focused 5. US citizen or green card holder
