Overview
The Echo/Vascular Technologist works under the supervision of the Outpatient Imaging Manager and performs Stress Echo, Dobutamine Stress Echo testing, and Echo Contrast studies, as well as vascular ultrasound studies. Top "Must Haves" from the Account Executive: 1. Graduation from an accredited diagnostic ultrasound/echo sonography program 2. One year of post-graduate experience in cardiac ultrasound 3. Current registration by ARDMS, or current certification by Cardiovascular Credentialing International as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) 4. BLS Certification 5. Echo Tech Non-Registered: Employees who do not have ARDMS registration (but who otherwise meet the qualifications for the “core” job) must be assigned to this level, and they have a period of one year from the date of hire to obtain it.
