Certified Coding Specialist Nashville, TN Full-Time The Certified Coding Specialist is responsible for auditing physician documentation for appropriate coding compliance and reporting this information back to management. You will assist with medical record review to assure appropriate compliance. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required for reporting findings to management and physician leadership. Top Must Have Skills for This Job: 1. Must have a Professional coding certification 3. Minimum of 4 years coding experience preferred 3. 2 years’ experience performing chart audits and feedback/education in a physician practice environment 4. Knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS coding 5. Knowledge of government programs, i.e., Medicare and Medicaid
