Sr. Medical Technologist

Overview

Under the direction of the Laboratory Assistant Director, the Senior Medical Technologist performs clinical laboratory testing and carries out the duties necessary to the performance of clinical test procedures, in the areas of hematology, urinalysis, immunology, immunohematology, chemistry. In addition to routine bench work this position is responsible for the general operations in their assigned area. Top "Must Haves" from the Account Executive: 1. Must be certified as a Medical Technologist (MT, CLS or MLS) 2. Minimum three (3) years of recent full time work experience as a medical technologist 3. Bachelor’s degree in medical technology or related science preferred 4. Blood bank experience strongly preferred
