Clinical Data Abstractor

Overview

Clinical Data Abstractor Full-Time As a Clinical Data Abstractor, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing and reporting clinical elements on cases that are required for participation in regulatory or quality initiatives or programs. The Clinical Data Abstractor will be required to manage the case load and report data to quality initiative programs. Ideal candidates should be familiar with regulatory programs such as Meaningful Use/Advancing Care Information, QOPI, PQRS, and OCM. Required Skills & Experience: 1. Bachelor’s degree in Cancer Information Management, Cancer Registry Management, Nursing or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) 2. Three (3) or more years of relevant experience in a hospital, state, or free standing cancer registry or equivalent oncology related data collection activity 3. CPC or CCS-P preferred 4. Strong EMR experience
