Compensation Specialist Maywood, Illinois Full-time As the compensation specialist you will assist in documenting job description requirements and conducting internal and external job content evaluation analysis to assign appropriate job title and determine appropriate pay grade. Oversee the job description portal for LUHS and create, approve and finalizes job descriptions. Participate in compiling and analyzing off-cycle compensation request by reviewing data to determine an appropriate recommendation within established pay practices. Assist in annual salary planning and provide support establishing annual compensation budget. Top "must haves" for this job: - High School Diploma plus training acquired through work experience with HRIS systems - Bachelors Degree plus training acquired through work experience with HRIS systems preferred - 3-5 years of previous job-related experience in compensation required - 6-10 years of previous job-related experience in compensation preferred - Advanced Microsoft Excel required - Time and attendance systems preferred
