Job Title: Home Health Nurse Job Description: Client is seeking a home health nurse to provide, coordinate, and direct the provision of home nursing care according to physician's orders based on agency policies and procedures, through the competent application of the nursing process. Responsible to Clinical Manager Directly Supervises and Evaluates Home Health Aides and Licensed Practical Nurses/Licensed Vocational Nurses. Required skills & experience: 1. Current and unencumbered license to practice as a Registered Nurse specific to that state the employee is assigned to work by the Company. 2. Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) documents the following: The mutual recognition model of nurse licensure allows a nurse to have one license (in his or her state of residency) and to practice in other states (both physical and electronic), subject to each state's practice law and regulation. Nurses must legally reside in a NLC state to be eligible to have a multi-state license. See list of Nurse Licensure Compact States 3. Minimum of 2-3 years of nursing experience required. 4. Current CPR certification. 5. Home Health experience 6. Contract to hire What you need to know: 1) How long is the contract assignment? : 13 weeks 2) Schedule of assignment hours? M – F 8am – 5pm 3) Will you want to hire the contractor at the end of the contract or is this truly a contract assignment? Yes, move to full time 4) What region are you in? Home health 5) What’s creating the request? - work load 6) To which location will this person report for assignment? Athens Georgia USA 30606-5700 Please confirm above location is correct and list any other territories that are to be covered by the candidates: Athens, Green county area. 7) How many miles per week will the consultant travel? 35/45 a day 8) What are the weekly units of productivity expectations? 25/30 9) What EMR systems will the consultant be using: HomeBase, Oasis, Outlook 10) Will there be any on call? If so, how much? Yes, Rotation every 4th weekend. 11) Do you want the candidate to have home health experience? Best if they have HCHB, preferred.
