Volunteer Coordinator Queens, NY Full Time Job Description: As the Volunteer Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising a corps of volunteer staff, who provide patient care and support roles in the hospice program. Oversight of the volunteers will include: recruitment, interviewing/selecting, orientation, scheduling, record-keeping, supervision, evaluation, recognition, retention, and ongoing support. Required skills & experience (the “must haves” to be considered): 1. Bachelor's degree required 2. Two years of professional work experience that includes recruitment, training and/or supervision( Previous hospice experience preferred)
