Overview

Job Title Diagnostic Imaging Technical Specialist Job Description Provides clinical services in multiple modalities according to imaging practice standards with equal time spent in each modality based on OU needs and acts as a resource to imaging students and other technologists to ensure optimal department functions. They will also administer sound patient care practices according to hospital and department policies and procedures, to ensure the safety of the patients and demonstrate radiation protection/ safety for patients, staff and self. Our Ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in two or more imaging modalities and demonstrate the initiative to stay abreast of current technology and show evidence of professional growth. Required skills & experience (the “must haves” to be considered): 1. 1 year experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital/healthcare environment. 2. Graduate of an accredited school/program of radiography. 3. Additional training in one or more modality will be completed within 1 year of hire into position. (You must be able to perform in 2 or more modalities with an even amount of time spent rotating in each.) 4. ARRT registered as a Radiologic Technologist must obtain advanced certification in applicable modality within 1 year of training (BLS)
