Physician - Palliative Care

This is a fantastic full-time opportunity for a BE/BC physician to join our hospital medicine based palliative care team! Required Skills and Experience: - MD or DO - Board Certified or Board Eligible ; Board exam must be completed within 1-year of hire date - Eligible to work in the United States What you need to know: - Inpatient service that serves hospitals in Des Moines and surrounding area - Potential for outpaitent work in clinic, home or a facility setting - Established service joining 5 physicians and 8 ARNPs - Teaching opportunities with residents and medical students - Collegial and stable hospitalist team, experienced interdisciplinary team members - Primarily working M-F with after hour call every 6 weeks allowing for work/life balance - Average of 3-4 new consults/day, average of 3-4 follow-up visits/day
