Nurse - Emergency Department Manager

Overview

We are looking for a Manager of Emergency Department Care Management that will be responsible for the oversight of daily operations, staffing, and workflows for the ED Care Management Department! Required skills & experience (the “must haves” to be considered) - Bachelor's Science of Nursing required - Experience of 3-5 years preferred with knowledge in more than one discipline - Maryland Registered Nurse License or intent to achieve MD licensure if out of state required - Case management certification required within 3-5 years of hire for this role What you need to know - Chance to work with an innovative team who takes pride in welcoming new ideas! - Manages a team of professional staff, composed primarily of RN Care Coordinators, social workers and ED Community Health Workers - Responsible for providing care management services to the hospital's patient population that consists of care coordination, care progression, discharge planning, medical necessity reviews, and psycho-social services
