RN Quality/Performance Improvement

Overview

We have a wonderful opportunity for an RN interested in Quality & Performance Improvement to make a difference! We have an opportunity for a full-time RN in this role. Once trained, you can enjoy working from home part of each work week! (This is not a remote/virtual position. The RN must be local and come to weekly meetings after receiving training.) Primary responsibilities include several different types of chart reviews (newly hired RNs to assist with orientation, adverse events, etc.) and coordinating with clinicians and their supervisors to ensure documentation corrections are made in a timely manner as well as that clinicians learn from corrections needed. They will also assist with a wide range of other quality improvement activities including responding to payer audits, reviewing patient outcomes and correcting data before submission to Medicare, etc. Minimum Requirements: o NYS RN license o Associate's degree in nursing o 2+ yrs of experience in Quality/Performance RN role Preferred Requirements: o 1+ yrs of home health experience (strong preference) (If not Home Care, they need to have ICU/ED experience) o Bachelor's degree in nursing *Not a management/leadership role
