Director of Nursing - Subacute

Overview

We're actively searching for Director of Nursing candidates for our Subacute Unit! The successful candidate will direct and oversee all activities of the Subacute unit in order to ensure quality patient care. You will participate in the formulation, revision, interpretation and administration of the vision, philosophy, policies, and procedures of the Subacute Unit toward the accomplishment of the objectives of our organization. You'll also manage the day to day operations of the SubAcute Unit. Mentor and coach staff in leadership skills and critical thinking abilities to ensure professional growth and to ensure quality patient care. Required Skills and Experience: - BSN, Master's strongly preferred - 7+ years of RN experience in SNF, Subacute, LTC or Assisted Living - Active Maryland Registered Nurse License or ability to obtain license - Recent management experience overseeing a team of 40+ employees What You Need to Know: - Schedule: Full-time, day shift - Award winning facility that fosters a culture of inclusion and mutual respect - Incredible benefits and professional development opportunities - 39 bed unit so it is a good opp for someone that would be taking a step forward to a DON
