Job Title Hospice RN Job Description Under the direction of the Director of Home Health and Hospice, the Hospice RN incorporates a broad spectrum of knowledge in the application of nursing to provide client care in the home, place of residence or appropriate community site. Required skills & experience (the “must haves” to be considered) - Associate's Degree in Nursing - Current RN license issued by the State of Oregon - Must have BLS within 30 days of hire. Must possess a valid Oregon Driver’s License, automobile insurance and provide own transportation. Must have flexible schedule and ability to meet on-call requirements of the position. Must have good assessment, communication, and documentation skills - At least one (1) year of hospice nursing experience strongly preferred within the last three (3) years. Two (2) years acute care or home health nursing experience preferred. What you need to know - Must have flexible schedule and ability to meet on-call requirements - Earn up to 10 CEU hours per year - See on average 5 patients per day - 4 days/week - 8 hour shifts
