Medical Technologist

Overview

As a Medical Technologist, you will perform complex laboratory procedures utilized for the diagnosis and treatment of disease as appropriate for patient age to include neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric adults; you will recognize deviation from expected results and analyze/correct problems using scientific principles. Top "Must Haves" from the Account Executives: 1). Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or in Chemistry, Biology or related field 2). Certification in one of the following: o Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) o Medical Technologist (MT) by the American Medical Technologists (AMT) o Medical Technologist (MT) by the American Association of Bioanalysts (AAB) 3). Open to new grads! A person may be hired into this position if he/she has completed the educational requirements and is eligible for the certification exam. We are a rural non-profit community hospital located in the city of Roseburg, in the US State of Oregon.
