Overview
The Director of Central Operations is responsible for our Central Shared-Service Operations in addition to the execution of select functions and objectives that span the nH Clinical Service LOBs. Delivering consistent, effective, and efficient services both Central Operations and our clinical care continuum as a whole is the mandate of this role. Success in this role creates, but is not limited to, compliant operations within the nH clinical model, positive outcomes for patients, and KPI achievement for the departments and markets it supports. This position establishes strong relationships with Health Plans/BPCI owners and partners with other key market stakeholders. The Director will be responsible for end-to-end operations of assigned departments including strategic direction, customer and market service delivery, and long term operational success. This role is responsible for operational oversight and strategic planning for central departments that service our growing BPCI, Provider, and Health Plan Services Business. Additionally, with strategic investment toward improved scalability and standardization of a leaner and more replicable delivery model, this role will oversee the integration of key business transformation projects as it relates to how we integrate technology and service partners into our Central or Enterprise Operations teams. This position requires input into market-specific business strategy and supporting implementation of innovative clinical programs within our clinical model. This individual assists the Corporate and Market Leadership in developing strategic direction and creating the annual business plan with consideration to impact of decisions to clinical outcomes. The Director is also responsible for maintaining a positive work environment for our colleagues, serving as communication link to Market Leadership, Corporate and Clinical Team Manager(s) and ensuring compliance with all Corporate policies and procedures. Finally, the Director, with guidance from the VP, is responsible for driving an efficient and effective Department that operates within budgetary and fiscal parameters as set by the VP. Direct Reports • Health Plans Support Team Sr. Manager • BPCI Support Team Sr. Manager What you will need to be successful…… • 5-8+ years of advanced clinical experience • 5+ years of healthcare management experience • Bachelor’s Degree required • Master’s degree preferred • Previous experienced managing a team of non-exempt and professional associates required • Previous experience in managing a P&L or large OPEX budget. • Experience with EMRs, patient accounting, or care management systems preferred. • Strong problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiating skills. • Adept strategic vision and cross-departmental, “big picture,” thinking with ability to understand the enterprise and service continuum from start to finish. • Familiarity with federal HIPAA and CMS regulations required. • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
