Job Title Physician: Emergency Medicine Job Description: Health Facility is seeking a locum Emergency Medicine Physician to join their team of practitioners in Eureka, CA. The facility is a level III trauma center with 144 total beds. Physician will be required to supervise APP for consults and sign off during shifts. There will be multiple physicians present during the length of this locum assignment. Required skills & experience (the “must haves” to be considered) - Hospital Privileges (8 weeks to obtain) - Active California license - Board Certified (ABMS/AOA), if BC in ER medicine do not need ACLS, BLS or PALS. - Residency trained, but not board certified > If not BC, within 3 years of residency - ATLS certification What you need to know - Adult: 88% - Pediatric: 12% - Average patients per physician per day: 90 (24hr period) - 144 total beds including 12 ICU - Schedule will be 8,10, & 12 hour shifts (Sun-Sat.)
