Infection Prevention Manager

Overview

Healthcare facility is seeking an Infection Prevention Manager who will implement the multiple facets for the Infection Control program and serves as a liaison between physicians and health care personnel and the various hospital committees. Required skills and experience - 2 or more years of acute care hospital experience - 2 years of Infection Control experience preferred - Massachusetts RN License, or ASCP - CIC certification preferred - Has knowledge and experience in patient care practices, microbiology, asepsis, disinfection/sterilization, adult education, infectious diseases, communication, program administration, and epidemiology. What you need to know - Implements programs and provides educational opportunities to inform staff of proper Infection Control techniques. - Monitors compliance with multiple regulatory standards for infection control. - Monitors the delivery of safe, cost-effective care to our patients, staff, visitors and others in the healthcare environment.
