Job Title Physician: Hospitalist (Adult/ Pediatric) Job Description Locum Hospitalist needed to help serve both adult and pediatric patients at local facility. Physician will be provided with help based on speciality cases (General surgery, OB/GYN & Orthopedics) and 3 RN's and CNAs on the floor. Provider will work Mon - Sun from 6am-8pm with 24/7 Pediatric On Call. Required skills & experience - Hospital privileges required, time to obtain will depend on candidate's past work history. - Board Certified (ABMS/ AOA) - BLS Certification - ACLS Certification - PALS Certification Clinical Requirements: > Adult: Non-invasive Ventilation Management, Acute Ventilation Management, Intubation, Central line placement, EKG Interpretation, Lumbar Puncture, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Suturing Minor Lacerations, I&D, Arthrocentesis. > Pediatric: Inpatient, Atten C-sections/high risk, deliveries, Non-Invasive Vent Mgmt, Acute Ventilation Management, Intubation (newborn & pediatric), Conscious Sedation, Deep Sedation, Central Line Placement , UVC Placement, Lumbar puncture, Chest tube placement, needle pneumothorax decompression, and EKG Interpretation. What you need to know - 95% Adult, 5% Pediatric - Average 6-12 PPD in the hospital
