Director, Medical Management

Overview

In collaboration with the VP of Medical Management, the Director of Medical Management provides leadership and administrative oversight, program development, implementation and evaluation of the Utilization Management, Care Management, Disease Management, Quality Improvement and Risk Adjustment Programs impacting health for individuals and populations. As part of senior management, this position reports to the Market Lead and directs programs for an assigned market to assure achievement of organizational goals. Required skills & experience (the “must haves” to be considered) • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience required. • At least 7-10 years of relevant professional experience, including managed care, Medicare, IPA and Networks experience. • A minimum of 3 years of responsible leadership experiences in management positions • Registered Nurse (RN) with a current and active nursing license to practice in the State assigned required • Certified Case Manager (CCM) preferred • Certified Professional in Health Quality (CPHQ) preferred What you need to know - Be a key member of a new market/office for an established and rapidly growing organization - Great opportunity for professional development for self-starters - Great pay with bonus potential, benefits and PTO allowance
