Job Description: We have a locum or locum to perm opportunity for a Primary Care Medical Director. This position will be responsible for overseeing two clinics. There are 4 Nurse Practitioners who see patients and this role will be overseeing them. This candidate will split his/her time 50% administrative and 50% in direct patient care. Provides on-site management of the clinical and administrative aspects of the primary care clinic operations. The Medical Director's responsibilities include coordinating Patient Care activities of NCCH’s RHCs, and Administrative functions to include but not limited to; peer review activities, member of the Medical Executive Committee (MEC) and Medical Staff, and member of other assigned hospital based committees. Oversees other Primary Care Clinic Providers, to include Nurse Practitioners, as determined by AZ regulations, CMS and NCCH Medical Staff By Laws. Schedule: - Monday - Thursday - 7 am - 4 pm Requirements: - 2+ years of experience in a Primary Care Clinic Setting, preferably in a Rural Health Clinic - Active AZ license - Board Certified - DEA - BLS, ACLS, PALS
