Health Information Management Director

Overview

Seeking an individual to oversee the daily operations of our HIM Department. You'll maintain approved levels of security and confidentiality of records/data and manage the collection, storage and retrieval system to allow timely and easy use of records. You'll also oversee the hiring, orientation, training and supervision of HIM staff. Required skills & experience (the “must haves” to be considered) - AA or Bachelor’s Degree preferred - RHIA or RHIT required - CCS, CPC, CPC-H preferred - Five (5) years of inpatient medical record experience, preferably in an inpatient psychiatric hospital setting - Management experience in HIM preferred What you need to know - Opportunity to work with a company that highly values teamwork and is growing at a rapid pace! - Be a part of the first location in Albuquerque, NM - Great base pay and benefits
