Physician - OB/GYN

Overview

Required skills & experience: 1. MD or DO 2. Board Certified or Board Eligible 3. Hold an unrestricted license to practice medicine and in Iowa 4. Eligible to work in the United States 5. Ability to work as a team member What you need to know: • Both clinic and inpatient practice • Growing practice with providers who have been in the community for over 20 yrs. • Current providers: One physician and three mid-wives • Typical hours include 6.5 hrs/clinic day 4 days a week and built in procedural time. Quality of life will entail call coverage; at minimum 10 days/month. Responsibilities: • Average number of patients per day - 15/20 • 400 deliveries/year • Inpatient call coverage - Hospitalist program is fully utilized • Outpatient call triaged first through the MyNurse call system with L&D calls going directly to provider.
