Sterile Processing Tech Supervisor

Overview

Job Title: Sterile Processing Tech Supervisor Job Description: As the Sterile Processing Tech Supervisor, you will oversee the activities of Sterile Processing personnel for all shifts. Ensures coverage seven days per week, 24 hours per day; ensures appropriate processing of surgical/medical supplies and instruments for all hospital departments and nursing units. Required skills & experience (the “must haves” to be considered): -Certified Central Service Technician (CRCST). Membership in the International Association of Health Care Central Service Materials Management preferred. -Minimum of five years experience with instrumentation as Central Service Technician is required. -Prefer at least two of those years to be in a supervisory capacity. -Able to stand/walk for long periods of time, stoop, lift, and push objects up to 65 pounds. Position is high risk for blood borne pathogens, respiratory, chemical, and physical hazards.
