Overview

The National Director of Education is responsible for designing and implementing the overall onboarding, educational and practice improvement initiatives. This position develops, oversees and directs organizational onboarding programs, directing agency educational programs and initiatives to promote and strengthen evidence based clinical practice and achieve strategic initiatives. The primary focus is achieving excellent onboarding and on-going training for agency employees, resulting in engaged employees with retention rates in top decile, clinical care outcomes in the top quartile. Required skills & experience (the “must haves” to be considered) 1. The ideal incumbent will need to have experience in home health care and will need to have previous training/educational background in the industry of Home Healthcare/ Hospice. 2. The Director of Education will be developing the training materials. 3. Training will be limited to new hire & onboarding from the onset but will then progress to overall training and staff development. 4. There will be 30% travel in the first year; it will taper off 1 year. 5. Must be licensed as an RN with a clinical educator background 6. Must have home care/hospice experience 7. The Home Care EMR system used here is called Home Care Home base 8. Average daily census for homecare across all agencies is 5,500 daily. 550 for Hospice and Palliative Care What you need to know . This role will be supporting our National Ministries located in various states. It will be required for the Directors to travel 30% of the time. Must be willing to travel to the corporate office and to the National Agencies. The Director role will travel 30% of the time for the first year until the operation stabilizes. Will offer relocation and sign on bonus for the right fit. There is a 10% annual bonus structure – based on goals and outcomes. Goals are weighted. The role will work from Livonia, MI, however, I will look at candidates that are out of state and not committed to relocating to Michigan, but they must be willing to travel.
