Locum - Psychiatrist Inpatient/Outpatient

Overview
Required skills & experience: 1.) Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible 2.) Must have or be willing to attain PA medical license 3.) Must perform Psychiatric H&P's 4.) Must be accountable during credentialing and when traveling Inpatient: The locum will see a max of 12-14 patients per day on the inpatient unit. That includes performing initial evals and rounding. They will not see more on the inpatient unit unless due to unforeseen circumstances. Average length of stay: 8 days Cerner EMR on the inpatient Psychiatric H&P's only. Medical H&P's are covered by the medical group. Outpatient: In the outpatient clinic, our docs typically see 1 patient per hour for initial evaluations, 2-3 per hour for follow-up med checks. Our support staff does all the scheduling. GE EMR in the outpatient clinic. Our docs typically see the inpatients in the morning and outpatients in the afternoon. The locum will be on the call rotation which is 1:7. Call is split-our docs take 1 overnight call every 7 days and 1 weekend call every 7 weeks. *It will be the locum’s option whether they want to do hospital consults, it’s not mandatory.
